When it comes to Social and Behavior Change (SBC), we believe that strategic planning and capacity building go hand in hand with sound implementation, that’s why we make emphasis on providing the right training from top to bottom, down to the field level where an intervention’s success is determined.
Given our team members’ complementary skills, we use a tag-team approach, getting them involved on an as-needed basis for cost efficiency. As such, depending on our client’s needs, a project may be handled by one person or several team members.
We tackle most of our assignments using a two-pronged approach based on capacity building and project implementation. The expected outcome is to have our client’s personnel and key stakeholders trained to carry out future interventions on their own.
Our Community-Based Creative Approach is a four-step systematic approach to SBCC design, founded on proven models that show that although behavior change takes place at the individual level, individuals are influenced by family, peers, community, and the social environment where they live.
Our CBCA starts with the design of the SBC strategy, relying on existing research and the input of experts and stakeholders. Then we validate it with the target audience, taking into consideration the community and other audiences that influence their actions, to help us understand our audience better and how we can interact with the community to help affect individual behavior.
